ABOUT ME
A few years ago, I started designing earrings for myself and my family. What began as a creative hobby quickly turned into a true passion. I experimented with different materials like epoxy resin and lacquered wood, always searching for the perfect balance between beauty and comfort until I discovered acrylic glass.
With the help of a laser cutter, now proudly sitting next to my washing machine, I was finally able to create the earrings I had always dreamed of: bold statement pieces that are incredibly lightweight. At only 3 grams per earring, they can be worn all day with ease and comfort.
The name Julie and Charlotte comes from my two children, my greatest inspiration and the motivation behind my daily work.

I begin every design in a very traditional way, using a compass, pencil, and markers to sketch ideas by hand. I then refine the designs digitally with tools like Adobe Illustrator before preparing them with specialized software that transfers the final drawings to my laser cutter. What fascinates me most about working with laser technology is the incredible precision: the sharp, clean edges and the perfection of every cut. It allows me to transform artistic ideas into refined statement pieces with exceptional detail and craftsmanship.
